According to a report, The National AIDs Control organization and Health Ministry has approved a first of its kind initiative.
Under which sex workers of Songachi (Kolkata) that is Asia’s largest red light district will receive HIV- preventive medicine from this December.
As an experiment, Pre- Exposure Prophylaxis, preventive medicines will be given to workers.
