Sooji Halwa
Ingredients:
100 Gram semolina (sooji)
100gram sugar
100 gram ghee
01 tablespoon cashew nuts, broken into two
01 tablespoon raisins
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
03 cup water
Method:
Heat the ghee in a kadai or pan. Gently pour in the semolina, and cook on a low flame till dark golden or brown. Be careful not to let it burn. Mix in the water, followed by the sugar, stir and cook. Now add the cashew nuts and raisins, and let it simmer, till it attains a runny consistency. Mix in the cardamom powder, and serve hot.
