Google owns two operating systems – Android and Chrome OS. The company, which has been restructuring in the past few months, and has created a umberella called ‘Alphabet’, is also streamling it’s other activities.
Among the activities being streamlined are the Operating systems. Realizing the futility of having two, Google is now merging the two into one, and will shortly release the name of the combined Operating System, which will become operational in 2017.
