After IIT cancelled the admission of one of its part-time PHd student, Leesha Tangri because she had concealed facts regarding her experience, the HRD minister asked it to reconsider its decision.
Three deans from IIT said that they did not want the interference of the ministry in academic matters and threatened to quit if it works this way.
