Afternoon dose of light healthier for kids

According to a study conducted recently, children who are exposed to light early in the morning, even from television, mobiles, etc. are prone to be chubbier than kids who get their dose of light in the afternoon.

The study was conducted at Queensland University of Technology in Australia. A person associated with the study said “ We found moderate intensity light exposure earlier in the day was associated with increased BMI (Body Mass Index) while children who received their biggest dose of light – outdoors and indoors – in the afternoon were slimmer.”
