Devotees throng Vaishno Devi during Navratras

According to the ‘Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board’, the controllong trust of the famous Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir, more than 77 thousand pilgrims have already visited the holy shrine in the first 3 days of the nine day Navratra Festivals so far.

Vaishno Devi is considered one of the main shrines of the Mother Goddess in India. The ardous journey, which is usually performed by foot takes a few hours to complete. The shrine is located in a cave up in the mountais of Jammu in the district of Katra.
