Congress Leader Ahmed Patel said that Government was sleeping while pulses prices rose. Retail prices of pulses increased up to Rs. 181 per kg. One year ago it was Rs 85 per kg, as per the data maintained by the consumer affairs ministry.
The Government said we are trying hard to maintain the price by increasing availability through import and urged the consumers to wait for sometime to see results.
