India’s Central Bureau of Intelligence today conducted nationwide raids on premises of Vijay Mallya, dubbed the ‘King of Good Times’.
The raids were in connection with the Rs.9 Billion default by the liquor baron in connection with the now defunct ‘Kingfisher Airlines’.
The loans were purportedly sanctioned in violation of norms by IDBI, whose officers have also come into the dragnet.
