L’Oreal and other FMCG giants face ASCI ire!
The Advertising Standards Council of India is the apex body to deal with maintaing ethical advertising standards in the country.
It seems that the FMCG sector has gone wild with their assertions about their products. This is the reason for the unprecedented 82 complaints agains various FMCG ads in the month of June alone.
Leading these are L’Oreal, Heinz India, Vicco Laboratories, CavinKare and others, making the advertising watchdog burn the midnight oil.
