Stress buster protein found!
Scientists at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, King’s College, London, UK have identified a protein called TRPV1.
This protein’s function is to trigger the primal ‘fight or flight’ mechanism in us by releasing noradrenalin, a hormone associated with this.
By developing drugs to control or inhibit it’s functioning, the scientists believe, an effective stress control drug can be developed.
