Hacking is becoming more of a menace these days, affecting e-commerce and other internet sites and transactions.
In the latest such attack, crowdfunding site Patreon has been compromised, and approx 15 GB of data, including names of doners, with addresses, etc. have been released on the net.
Though bank details were not compromised, still such incidents do shake doner and user confidence.
