Getting down to serious business, Sushma Swaraj, India’s External Affairs Minister, who is attending the UN session in New York, took time to meet leaders of Latin American and Caribbean nations.
Hosting the India-CARICOM (Caribbean Community) Foreign Ministers meet here, Sushma Swaraj said “ India’s ties with the Caribbean region are historic & civilisational and they share similar concerns & common aspirations for accelerated economic development & eradication of poverty…”
