Recently, during an event in capital Aditi Sajwan (Koyal) and Shafaq Naaz (Mayuri) of Chidiya Ghar were spotted having fun.
During an exclusive chat they shared their working experience together and their take on women empowerment.
- How is the feeling of being here in Delhi?
Aditi: Well, being to Delhi is always a special experience but when you come to such events, it is even more exciting because you get a chance to meet so many people at a single platform.
- You people have a wonderful chemistry onscreen. So, how is your bond off screen?
Shafaq Naaz: We even do more masti off screen because at that time we are out of our characters and we both are fun loving girls. So, we keep on cracking jokes in between our shots also.
- Recently there was video ‘My Choice’ that has been criticized so much. So, what’s your take on it?
Aditi: I think people have different views and perceptions about a particular thing. I have seen the video and according to me it is perfectly alright and it’s high time for our male dominated society to understand that women want their share of space and their rights in the society.
- What do you think how much financial independency helps in empowering women?
Shafaq: I think it is very crucial for a woman to be financially independent because by this she can not only bear her own expenses but also support her family too. So, I think that is the real empowerment and for that it is important to educate girls.
- What do you like to do apart from acting?
Aditi: Well, we people like to have lot of fun apart from acting. Just like common girls we like to hang out with our friends and party hard as we rarely get time from our hectic schedule.
- If given a chance with which celebrity you will want to go on a date?
Aditi: Well, I really admire Shah Rukh Khan and as we all know he is the king of romance. So, definitely if I would get a chance I will go with him on a date.
- How are Aditi and Shafaq as a person?
Aditi: She is a down to earth person, who loves to make friends and like to hang around with them.
Shafaq: She is bubbly girl, who talks a lot, besides this she is a dedicated professional.
- Do you people have any future plans?
Shafaq: Right now we don’t have any such plans and we are enjoying our show. So, please keep watching our show on Sab TV.
