Road Transport and Highway Minister, Nitin Gadkari is expected to launch Green highways policy 2015 today at a National conference.
Under this policy green plants will be promoted along with highways, wherever it is technically feasible.
According to policy, the road maker has to keep aside one percent of total project for the cost of green plantation.
