Yesterday night, the Facebook site became inaccessible to offerings all around the world.
Desktop, apps or any other mode of communication couldn’t access the page. When people tried accessing the page, an error page occurred which showed that the they were ‘working on it’.
It is one of the most used and popular social media sites ever and the moment they couldn’t access it, people started becoming restless. Though Facebook boasts about having a relatively clean history of never going down, this incident will surely serve as a backlog.
The reason for the breakdown was not made public, but the site restored within few hours.
