The Dalai Lama, in a light vein has claimed in an interview to BBC that if his successor will be a female she should “very, very attractive” otherwise she is “not much use”.
Though intended humorously, the comment has raised many a eyebrow, as it is taken in context to his claim to be a feminist on a previous occasion in 2009.
Currently, the Dalai Lama is in London to promote compassion.
