UN focuses on quality education
There are more than 250 million children who are unable to read, write or even calculate numbers.
The UN is setting new Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of economic, social and environmental factors to be adopted by the world leaders on Friday. In which to go beyond the Millennium Development Goals.
In which various measures of quality education is to observed and not just on attendance. There are already 130 million children who have reached fourth grade and are still not learning how to read and write. Another 120 million do not even complete their four years of schooling.
