Somnath Bharti, the lawyer who became a member of AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) and the former law minister was accused of domestic violence and attempt of murder by his wife Lipika Mitra.
He had been married to her for five years.
His anticipatory bail was rejected today by the Delhi High Court, which means that he can now be arrested.
His lawyer says that they are further going to move to the Supreme Court. It was after a lower court had passed a judgement against him that he had moved the High Court.
