Volkswagen has been one of the most respected companies in the World. So when they claim something, one usually takes it at face value.
However, to the shock and dismay of authorities, and consumers, it turns out that the Auto Giant’s word is as good as the nearest shyster.
Hoodwinking one and all, VW continued to sell their dirty technology diesel vehicles, claiming them to be clean. They even installed a sophisticated software to beguile testing machines.
This was again re-iterated by researchers at International Council for Clean Technology in U.S.A.
Having misleadingly sold more than 5 hundred thousand such vehicles, over a 2 to 3 year period, would a mere apology from the CEO of the Automaker suffice?
