The Harley Street 500 and 750, the urban street cruiser made in India has been recalled for a poor sealing pump inlet problem.
Harley Davidson has already notified all dealers to replace the fuel pump free of charge. The fuel pump issue can interrupt the fuel supply, leading to a short loss of abrupt power while riding.
The Street 500 and 750 was Harley’s answer to entry to the emerging markets. It is also regarded as a step forward to the next generation of future Harley Davidson lineup based on the new engine development that has gone into the Harley Street.
