On Thursday in Guatemala City thousands of people protested against their President Otto Perez and demanded his resignation.
Perez is accused of being involved in a customs racket and has refused to resign.
Guatemalan Supreme Court has already accepted the request by the Attorney General to impeach Perez. However, it is important for the impeachement for it to be ratified by the Congress too.
