MORE DEVELOPMENT DOWN SOUTH

There is good news for Mumbai locals and visitors alike. The Mumbai Metropolitan Regional development Authority, on Thursday, sanctioned a new 118 km route for the Mumbai metro costing about INR 35,400 crores.

Not just this, INR 22.05 crores has been approved for maintaining security personnel and up-to-date equipment and weapons. Also, the MMRDA signed for a plan to develop IFC (International Financial Centre) over a 20 hectare land in the Bandra-Kurla Complex for which they permitted an estimate of INR 95 crores.

Besides this, the board also put forth a proposal to build a Mumbai satellite town, Kalyan, for which it has approved of INR 1,089 crores as infrastructural growth.
