KIWIS CANTER TO VICTORY
New Zealand cricket team defeated a formidable South African line up on the ongoing ODI series in the African nation. The second ODI took place in Potchefstroom and the hosts were clear favourites riding high on confidence from the previous win.
It was ace batsman Martin Guptill’s century and eighth in ODI career that led the black caps batting line up from the front and matching footsteps was bowler Doug Bracewell whose career best 3 for 31 ensured an easy win for their side.
Not only Bracewell, Indian origin Ish Sodhi also turned out to be a great bet for the visiting team as both the bowlers were successful in not letting the likes of De Villiers and Rossuow get comfortable on strike.
Guptill and Latham came out with their highest first wicket partnership and the kiwis made sure they’re still in the series by levelling it in style.
