Prag Narain School for the Hearing Impaired (Prag Narain Mook Badhir Vidyalaya), Aligarh, U.P., India has been a cradle of learning for hearing and speech impaired children since 1967.
In it’s 48th year, the School celeberated India’s 69th birthday with gusto and aplomb. All guests, including the Chief Guest – the District Handicapped and Welfare Officer Mr. Prashant Kumar were left astounded when the children who could not speak, nor hear, performed dances and skits to musical perfection.
The school, run by a society, is recognized as not only one of the finest schools for the Hearing and Speech impaired, but also one of the finest NGOs in the country. It’s Principal – Mr. Ramji Lal Mathuria, who has been with the school since it’s inception, was given the President’s Award for excellence a few years back.
