UN Ends Poverty, Hunger in 15 Years
A draft of 17 new goals with 169 specific targets on issues ranging from ending poverty, quality education, affordable reliable energy, and protecting the environment has been agreed by 193 UN member states. It will succeed the eight Millennium Development Goals adopted 15 years ago.
The document Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will be adopted just before the General Assembly Meeting in late September. It will highlight the importance of being responsible citizens to our Eco systems and climate action, in which it is interconnected for all life to get equality.
