Bajaj scooters use to dominate the market and then the came the era of motorcycles. Hero with Honda, entered the motorcycle market early-on and went on to become the market leader. Bajaj had to play catch-up with Hero and in early 2000’s they brought the first Pulsar to the market. Nobody, including Bajaj, didnt know that Pulsar would be a game changer. Since then, Bajaj has enjoyed the success of Pulsar. Today the market is changing, customers are buying motorcycle not for commuting but for pleasure too.

The Pulsar RS200 demonstrates the design, fit and finish of the dream super sports bike that Indian youth would love to ride on. The muscular yet aerodynamic bike with its Pulsar design character, stylish front fairing and evolved performance dynamics entices you to race. It features HD focus twin projector headlights for the darkest roads, with the high intensity crystal LED tail lamp that mesmerizes its followers, on the road.
The Pulsar RS200 takes technology to another level with:
• A 4-valve Triple Spark DTSi Engine with Fuel Injection and Liquid Cooling to deliver the ultimate 200 cc performance – seamless and tractable power delivery at all speeds, longevity and durable performance in all weather conditions.
• 300mm disc brakes with ABS for uber-responsive sure-shot braking on any surface.
• Perimeter Frame for high stiffness-low flex to conquer the trickiest hairpins with elan. The gas filled Nitrox Mono suspension goes on to ensure comfortable riding and handling of the bike for hours at a stretch.
• A throaty midship race spec exhaust for better response – hitting the redline will never sound better
• 24.5 PS power and achieves a top speed of 141 km/hr and redlines at 11,000 rpm. It is a bike that is designed to take on the race track or everyday roads with equal ease, like a true Pulsar would

The new Pulsar is in a position to completely change the dynamics and expectations in the Super-sport segment. The Pulsar is now available at select Bajaj dealerships, Non-ABS version is priced at INR 1,18,000 and ABS version at INR 1,30,000.
