Aaghorii: Feel The Cult Rise
Project Aaghori, a unique album by Vinit R. Rai was launched on December 4, 2014 at the Roost Bistro, HauzKhas Village. As part of the launch event, Vinit R. Rai, performed at a live performance for an hour where he introduced his compositions from the album. The title of the album “Aaghori” refers to the cult of worshipers of Lord Shiva and their dark practices. Their beliefs about the supremacy of their cult distinguish them and the compositions of this album highlight these. Few tracks like Aaghorii, Shankara, Tanashah and Charas talk about Lord Shiva and the practices of Aaghorism. The album, however, also has a few tracks that are different like Radhika which is a folk rock and a fusion version of Kesariya Baalam.
