Looks And Interviews!

From a 7 year old kid to a 20 year girl to even a 60 year old man everyone wants to look their best when it comes to their physical appearance.
Looks have even become more important when it comes to cracking an interview for any job. But here it is important to understand that looks doesn’t mean your features and fixes. It is all about your way of presentation.
College students strongly believe that looks plays a vital role when a company selects a candidate.
“For a great first impression at an interview it is important to look presentable and for that I have to just cut my long hair. I had them in my entire college life but now I realize that they looks really shabby”, says Rohan, a 21 year old.
It is an interesting fact that the way you present yourself in the interview is directly connected to your professional commitment.
“I don’t like people who don’t manage their personal hygiene or who are very casual with their dressing sense and take interviews very lightly. While taking interviews I prefer people who are perfectly dressed up, at least it should look like they are appearing for their interview. ”, says Anandita Srivastava, Human Resource head at Mahindra tech, Satyam.
“I have bought a hair iron for myself though it was a little expensive, but now I don’t have to again and again to get my hair straightened for interviews. As I think looking pretty on the day is important because according to me nobody likes to talk to a person whose presentation is very scruffy”, says Abiniyata.
As recruitments in colleges are approaching, students are leaving no stone unturned to leave good impressions on the interviewers.
