‘Bhopal’ prayer for rain: Tribute to Bhopal tragedy
Today marks the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal gas tragedy, and the question is how many of us remember it? Very few of us right. So, to throw some more light on it and to promote their upcoming project ‘Bhopal prayer for rain’, Rajpal Yadav and Tannishta Chatterji, actors of the movie, addressed the media on a sunny December afternoon.
The movie is a tribute to the Bhopal gas tragedy, in which so many people lost their lives.
The story of the movie revolves around a happy family of a rickshaw puller whose life completely changes after the tragedy.
The movie was released last month in the US and was highly appreciated by the audiences over there.
The star cast include Mischa Barton, Martin Sheen, Kal penn and many more Hollywood stars. Trailer of the movie is itself very compelling for the audiences.
“It was a wonderful experience while working with Hollywood actors. They had some mesmerizing techniques and I really love the way they work”, said Rajpal Yadav.
“It happened in the year 1984 and we all have just heard about the fact that it was a disaster that took so many lives away and that a lot of the victims are still suffering. The movie will take you on an emotional journey where you can connect yourself to each and every moment”, says Tannishta Chatterji.
One World News asked Rajpal Yadav:
How difficult was your role, as you have always done comedy genre movies?
“It was not difficult for me as we have only portrayed different emotions of human beings in the movie. And you will also watch my comic part too such as when I fight with my wife. It is not a boring movie rather it is an engaging movie that will show that life can just change in a minute”, says Rajpal Yadav.
The movie is going to hit the Indian theaters on December 5 and is all set blow your mind as it will serve something different.
