Five Shaurya Chakra awardees from the CRPF and sixteen gallantry medal recipients from the BSF were honoured for their valor. The CRPF personnel displayed unmatched bravery in anti-Naxal operations in Jharkhand and counter-terror missions in Jammu and Kashmir, while BSF soldiers were lauded for their contributions during Operation Sindoor along the western border.
