India Bike Week to be hosted by Goa
At the announcement meet up that happened in Gurgaon’s Downtown Café, Mr Martin Da Costa, CEO- 70 EMG and Mr. Keertan Adyanthaya, MD- FOX International Channels (India) declared that the event will be held in Goa at VAGATOR on 20th & 21st February 2015. The tickets would be on sale for Rs.3,000/- and would be available from October 7th onwards. Martin da Costa, CEO of 70 EMG on the occasion said, “Have better stories to tell? India Bike 2015 is about creating these stories. IBW is not about brands and models, anyone who wishes to be a rider is welcome, and anyone with a love for bikes and love of the road is welcome. Indian Biking brotherhood is just getting bigger in 2015.”
The event would be organized by the well-known event planners, the SEVENTY Event Media Group, who along with Fox life would be holding the largest Festival of Bikers, Bikes, Music & Mayhem in the Indian history. The event received a great response from the Indian crowd and although more added reasons to make a visit to no-rules state, Goa. The first year of the event drew 6500 people whereas the second year saw the event growing much more by getting visits of around 7500 people where almost 4000 of them flew from across the country.
This bike week is one of the much celebrated festival because it does not only gives the riders or crowd a chance to have a look at never seen before bikes but also an opportunity to exchange riding stories or experiences. Continues to celebrate the spirit and lifestyle of the Indian Biker, IBW would be a season of 6 months which would be concluded with one great party in Goa.

If you are a travel enthusiast then you would love to be at travel zone as here you can meet the legendary motorcycle travelers, listen to their stories, look at their journey through their photographs, experience the feel by watching the video and you can even stay around with some travelers who have come back to Goa for second year of IBW. The zone also integrates the Adventure Movie Festival, an adventure travel gear expo, the Ladakh Tent, a Map of Fame, the Bikers Grant and much more.
Rocker Mark Wilsmore, Ace Cafe London would be riding to Goa, leading a Café Racer parade through the festival of India Bike Week. Mark would also judge competitions and fans of ‘Ace’ would have the opportunity to spend time with him. alongside, Mark would share the history of Ace Café London, from its original opening in 1938 through to today, taking in the legendary days of speed and the cafe racing Rockers!
The event would also have the racers, bikini bike wash, stunts, demos, the moves and the madness. Beat the heat with the water chute, beer-balance & other chilled activities. Adding to it, for all the speed enthusiast at an offsite location there would also be Drag Racing. A Dirt Track Challenging the competitive gutsy dirt biker or test your skills at the Trials on a Moto X bike. Other than all this, if you are not a biker but like to witness the speed and craziness it has, then you also have the opportunity to experience activities BMX stunts, Super Trials, Bboying, Skateboarding, Battling & Rapping.
The organizers of the festival are aiming to grow the biking community by reaching out to 32,000 biking enthusiasts in the cities like Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Surat, Jaipur, Pune, Coimbatore, Manipal and Kochi.
