Almost a year after the Chandu Champion release, an extraordinary revelation came to fans of the late Sushant Singh Rajput and left them in an emotional storm. Bhuvan Arora, one of the actors in the biopic, explained during an interview that Sushant was to be the original lead of the biopic on Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medal winner. He noted that Sushant had shown interest in such a story that he went out and acquired the rights to the film himself.
In a surprising turn of events, Bhuvan further recalled meeting Sushant at an airport, where the latter had informed him about a film on a paralympic swimmer. “It was a conversation where the two of us connected well since we loved acting. We had topics we would run and talk about,” said Bhuvan.
