Sharvari Wagh to Potentially Replace Kiara Advani in Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 Following Pregnancy News – Here’s the Latest Update
Latest buzz says actress Sharvari Wagh may step into the lead female role in Farhan Akhtar’s action-thriller Don 3, which was initially reserved for Kiara Advani. This follows speculation around Kiara’s pregnancy and her move to take time off from work, as sources say that the filmmakers are in advanced discussions with Sharvari to bring her on board this high-octane franchise.
As per reports from Bollywood Hungama, Excel Entertainment, which is producing the movie, has been actively looking at a few other actresses for the part and Sharvari has topped the list. A source quoted in the report revealed, “Sharvari and one more actress were being considered. But she has managed to bag the role. The team at Excel Entertainment are excited to have her on board. Sharvari, too, is quite kicked to be a part of such a huge franchise and also because it’s different from Alpha, though both are slick action films.”

Ranveer Singh then gets cast in the titular role as Don in Don 3 as well, and this time he will re-imagine the earlier legendary franchise, which had previously starred Shah Rukh Khan along with Priyanka Chopra. Originally, the role was played opposite Ranveer by Kiara Advani, but she has had to rearrange her schedule because of the news of her pregnancy. Kiara has opted to focus on her personal life temporarily stepping back from her acting career, according to a Pinkvilla report.
The project, directed by Farhan Akhtar, is likely to start shooting by late this year. If the reports turn out to be true, Sharvari will be seen performing some high-octane action, for which she is currently preparing in her next big release titled Alpha.

Munjya was a recent horror-comedy that saw Sharvari riding high on the success of her previous projects and Alpha is the next film directed by Shiv Rawail and stars Alia Bhatt too. In a past interview regarding action films, Sharvari stated, “I love action as a genre and I binge-watch action movies with my sister! So, when I was offered Alpha, I jumped! In my head, I always wanted to do action as an actor. So, I’m getting to live my dream.”
Now, if Sharvari indeed becomes a part of Don 3, it will be a huge turning point in her career, placing her alongside some of the best talents in Bollywood like Ranveer Singh. The fusion of action, drama, and high-stakes storytelling that are the properties of the Don series could create a phenomenal ground for Sharvari to display her versatility as an actress.
Though not yet offcially announced, fans are anxiously looking forward to when confirmation comes. It could be a majorly fresh-hook addition for a project that has been riding high in anticipation. Until then, all eyes remain on Excel Entertainment and Farhan Akhtar for the big reveal.
