With the beta launch of the trailer of Kesari Chapter 2 held at The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi, glorious memories of stars like Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday promoting the historical drama were etched in history. Co-produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Bindra, and directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is headed for a theatrical release on April 18, 2025.
In-depth explorations of the life of C. Sankaran Nair, the eminent lawyer and the former President of the Indian National Congress, is one of the gems in this movie. He vigorously championed justice and was instrumental in bringing to light the truth about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, which ranks among one of the darkest chapters in Indian history. The trailer gives a foretaste of an intense narrative simmering with compelling courtroom drama, fiery exchanges, and commendable presentation of the historical backdrop.
