Karisma Kapoor’s Stunning Monochrome Saree Look at Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI: A Bold Blend of Elegance and Modern Glam
Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor reminded everyone as to why she is a style icon for all times as she took to the Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI ramp. She set the stage on fire as she walked as the showstopper for Lakmē Salon x Satya Paul wearing an alluring black-and-white sequin saree, combining old with new in a modern sophisticated way.
The monochrome saree with its beautiful sequins had an added full-sleeved striped shirt to complete the look. The striped black and white shirt cleverly balanced the drape with a modern twist. Karisma always seems to be fascinated with sarees and monochrome fashion, proudly strutting it with that sleek black belt, which gave an elevation to the very chic ensemble.
Karisma Kapoor, who was beyond thrilled to be part of this elegant showcase, said, “You all know how much I love sarees and also how much I adore black and white, so I am very happy today. I think this outfit is bold and speaks of today’s woman. I would wear this saree in my personal life too.” In her clear passion and effortlessness, she embodies Satya Paul’s muse for the collection, Alchemy, of the famous designer pair David Abraham and Rakesh Thakore.

Karisma strolled down the ramp with elegance and swagger, casting an understated glamour. The show trumpeted the declaration of being through self-expression. The collection by Satya Paul-stunningly dazzled in the symphony of bold patterns-a contrast of striking prints and fluid silhouettes. The tensions between colors and shapes are invoked by inspiring mid-century modernists such as Ellsworth Kelly and Henri Matisse.
