Ananya Panday Redefines Power and Elegance in a Bold Silver Ensemble at Lakmē x AK|OK Anamika Khanna Opening Show

Ananya Panday was yet another head-turner at the opening show of Lakmē x AK|OK Anamika Khanna, where she gave the traditional Indian saree a contemporary twist. The young diva of Bollywood looked breathtaking in a statement piece from AK|OK Anamika Khanna’s Silver Collar collection, exuding power, poise, and effortless charm. Blending styles that straddled tradition and modernity, this young actress gave a redefinition of Indian couture with a gimmick of innovation.

Draped in an attention-seeking designer garment, Ananya’s look was sculpture in itself in terms of imagination and excellence. She wore richly embroidered blue silk pants and teamed the outfit with a lavishly embellished silver blouse styled with discrete jewelry and metallic accessories. The statement pallu of the saree was rethought into cascading silver metal chains. This modern twist really brought out an ultra-modern glamour look, but resonated accurately with the heart of Indian heritage.

Celebrity stylist Anna Trevelyan was an important part of Ananya Panday’s show’s memorable and stunning look. The entire experience was about letting go and allowing the vision to unfold organically. Most importantly, the general ambience was unconventional, as there were no rigid front-row seating arrangements. Instead of first-row, front-row hierarchy, the audience stood around the erected runway like a concert. Discussing her divergent approach, Anamika shared, “I don’t believe in deciding who is important or where people should sit. This format allowed for a more inclusive and dynamic experience.”

Ananya Panday’s proud parents Bhavana and Chunky Panday were also present to cheer for their daughter from the sidelines. The place vibrated with energy as guests embraced the sci-fi setup and celebrated the AK|OK magic.
