Shocking Crime in Meerut: Woman and Lover Brutally Murder Merchant Navy Officer
A Merchant Navy officer returning from London was brutally murdered by his wife and her lover, who then dismembered his body and sealed it in cement.
Merchant Navy Officer Returns from London to Surprise Wife, Gets Murdered and Dismembered by Her and Her Lover in Shocking Meerut Crime
The most sensational incident that happened in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, happened when a woman along with her lover murdered her husband, a Merchant Navy officer, after he returned from London. Authorities revealed the incident, which initially came to their knowledge, by discovering the victim’s body hidden in a drum with cement.
Police reported that Muskan, who is 27 years old, conspired and also killed her husband; this husband is Saurabh Rajput, 29 years old. This husband had come back from London to surprise his wife on her birthday without knowing what to expect from his wife. Unfortunately, he did not find wife and instead met his death after being stabbed on March 4 maybe because he returned home to India thinking that he will surprise his wife on an expected day from London. This event occurred in Indira Nagar, a locality in Meerut. They later dismembered his body into 15 pieces and tried to hide the evidence in a cement-filled drum.
This foul stench coming out of the house would prove to be very useful in alerting the authorities about the murder. The smell was emanating from the rented house where Muskan lived with Saurabh, his three-year-old daughter, and Saurabh. The police dug deep into the matter and found the victim’s remains and started an immediate inquiry. The fact confirmed by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ayush Vikram Singh that Muskan and Sahil were arrested after evidence pointed to their involvement.
During interrogation, both accused made a confession about their crime. Muskan and Sahil, while confessing, said that before dismembering the body of Saurabh into bits, they stabbed him at least thrice and sealed the body inside a drum that is cemented. Based on the complaint given by Saurabh’s suspicious family, the police have now registered a case.
The family of the deceased accused that to mislead them, Muskan sent a number of messages from Saurabh’s phone as though he were alive. But when family members wanted to talk to him directly, that raised many eyebrows. After the murder, Muskan and Sahil even enjoyed going to a hill station, which was an attempt to take a vacation and lead their lives as if nothing had happened.

This Saurabh and Muskan loved each other, and they got married in 2016 despite opposition from their respective families. Because of strained relations with families, they stayed apart and in a rented house located at Indira Nagar Phase 1. Muskan, however, was being unfaithful to Sahil, and such a relationship eventually led to this devastating crime that took Saurabh’s life in such an atrocious manner.
Saurabh’s body has undergone a post-mortem examination, and the investigations continue. The people involved in the murder have already been apprehended and are to be prosecuted for their offenses. Many argue within the community concerning human cruelty and treachery. This remains as an example of how strongly jealousy and deception can drive and make individuals commit the most horrifying crimes.
