Tulsi Gabbard Highlights PM Modi and President Trump’s Commitment to Peace
Tulsi Gabbard highlights PM Modi and President Trump’s shared commitment to peace, strategic cooperation, and global stability at Raisina Dialogue 2025.
Tulsi Gabbard Emphasizes Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump’s Shared Commitment to Peace and Strengthening India-U.S. Strategic Relations
The remarks were made about PM Narendra Modi being committed to peace like former U.S. President Donald Trump by Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence of the United States, during the Raisina Dialogue 2025 event held in New Delhi. Gabbard made the remarks on her two-and-a-half-day visit to India while discussing geopolitics and international relations.
The Essence of Peace and Diplomacy
Gabbard insisted that President Trump’s “America First” Foreign Policy must not be misconstrued as a call for isolationism; but rather, Gabbard noted that Trump desired to be recognized as a leader of peace and boycotted unnecessary conflicts.
“”It shouldn’t be mistaken that our President is calling for America First as an isolationist. That accusation speaks to a deeper misunderstanding or wrong assumption that the only way to engage with other countries is through conflict. He wants a legacy of being a peacemaker and a unifier,”” said Tulsi Gabbard.

She reiterated the same diplomatic activities performed by PM Modi in the respect of the efforts toward peaceful international relations. According to her, both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump share the same vision of global stability and cooperation.
Strategic Cooperation Between India and the U.S.
Gabbard highlighted the strategic partnership of India with the United States. It has been cited that the area of cyber security and artificial intelligence is one of the key areas of this partnership that can actually stand to enhance the security interests for both countries.
“Our goal is to provide the best timely intelligence reporting to our leadership. When PM Modi was in Washington, President Trump said there was a great opportunity for the evolving cyber security means and for artificial intelligence to strengthen our security interests,” she stated.
In Gabbard’s view, Modi’s early visit to Washington under Trump was not just a matter of diplomacy, but rather an expression of the personal friendship that had grown between the two leaders. She reiterated the sentiment that both countries have transcended diplomatic engagement to collaborate closely in security and intelligence issues in an atmosphere conducive to building strong bilateral relations.

“”In the spirit of Aloha, we come together on our shared spirit of partnership to work together honestly. We can ensure a more peaceful and prosperous future for the world. Thank you so much,”” she said.
Her speech emphasized that international relations must be built upon the foundation of mutual respect, common interest, and collaboration to promote peace and stability. The continued joint efforts of India and the U.S. can certainly create a better and more peaceful world.
