Kartik Aaryan’s mother, Mala Tiwari, seems to have fueled the dating rumors that have been doing the rounds about the Bollywood actor and South Indian actress, Sreeleela. A recent video from the IIFA Awards 2025 trending on social media showed her being questioned about her future daughter-in-law’s demands. To this, she said enigmatically that the family’s only demand is “a very good doctor.”

Fans were left to speculate, particularly because Sreeleela is not just an actress doing well but also a medical student. While neither Sreeleela nor Kartik has confirmed their relationship officially, the comment has rekindled gossip about their rumored relationship. Many feel that Kartik’s mother has sort of given her tacit acceptance of the blossoming relationship.

Earlier this month, added fuel to the fire when Sreeleela was spotted celebrating an important family occasion with Kartik and his family. The Aaryan family organized a function for Kartik’s sister, Dr. Kritika Tiwari, for her achievements in the medical field. A video from the event shows Sreeleela with the family enjoying herself and casually doing the hook step of the trending song Kissik from Pushpa 2, while Kartik stood in the background recording those happy moments, further adding to the rumors of romance due to their obvious chemistry at this family gathering.

Professionally, both stars are going to be seen together as well. Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are paired opposite each other in the upcoming film directed by Anurag Basu. This untitled movie will be the first film together for them. A teaser of the movie has been released in which Kartik appears rugged, singing Tu Meri Zindagi, showing glimpses of his romantic moments with Sreeleela. Fans could hardly contain their excitement to watch the on-screen pairing. The film is expected to release with a bang during Diwali 2025.
