TMKOC Twist: Tapu and Sonu’s Marriage Leaves Fans in Shock!

The latest promo of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah leaves its viewers in a shock since it hints an unpredictable twist-the marriage of Tapu and Sonu. The promo released by the makers showed both the youngsters in wedding attire. Also said there was Tapu, “Hamari shaadi ho gayi, hume aashirwaad dijiye.” While welcoming Sonu into the family, Jethalal and Champaklal are far away from what could be called celebratory. In the promo, he firmly tells Tapu, “Tum mere jamai kabhi nahi bann sakte.”

TMKOC Fans React to Tapu-Sonu’s Marriage

The wild marriage promo sent a frenzy among the viewers, evoking debates over social media. Some viewers think it could be a bizarre dream sequence of Bhide, others argue that the strict secretary of Gokuldham Society wouldn’t consent to such a marriage. One fan made a funny remark saying, “Yeh sapna kuch jyada hi lamba nahi chal raha hai?” Another added, “Bhide master ab sapne se jaagne ka samay aa gaya hai. Uth jao.”

Bhide’s Long-standing Concern about Tapu and Sonu

Bhide, for quite 16 years long, mainly feared something: his daughter, Sonu, coming anywhere close to Tapu. In the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, he went on expressing constant worries about Tapu’s nature whenever the scenario fell well for scaring Sonu—then warning her not to get too close to him. The ongoing conflict between Bhide and Jethalal being from children interaction has probably formed a cycle in the storyline. Though they have been pals since childhood, Bhide never appreciated the influence of Tapu on Sonu.

Asit Kumarr Modi, the show creator, has said all about the immense love the show has got over the years. He used characters such as Jethalal, Babita, Dayaben, and Sodhi to carry forward the concept that TMKOC has become part of many family households daily. While keeping in mind the history of the show surprising its audience, only time will tell if Tapu and Sonu actually pluralize or just a dramatic twist in the Gokuldham Society way.
