Rumors have indeed been doing the rounds recently regarding the breakup between Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma. Fans and the media now speculate about the real reasons behind their breakup. According to a recent report by Siasat Daily, the couple seems to have been affected greatly by the pressure towards tying the knot. Sources claim that Tamannaah has been anxious to wed in her early 30s and somewhat felt the urgency to do so. This desire to marry actually turned sour within the scope of their relationship, with ongoing arguments between the two.
Tamannaah’s impatience about marriage became one of the nasty points of argument in the relationship for which the couple had to pay consequences. However, kudos that these claims are still not independently verified by media. But, if the rumors are anything to go by, then it’s pretty clear that the growing desires of commitment from Tamannaah side have gotten tough for the couple to reconcile.
This news follows earlier reports from Pinkvilla, which stated that the pair had ended their relationship weeks ago. A source close to the actors said, however, that they had mutual respect and admiration for each other. One could add to it by stating that they plan to continue as good friends without a couple-like relationship. At present, there has been no official announcement concerning the state of affairs between Tamannaah and Vijay.

They began dating in 2022, and were very secretive about their private life until they were caught being amorous in Sujoy Ghosh’s stand in Lust Stories 2, which Netflix dropped in June 2023. After months of rumors, Tamannaah finally went on to confirm their relationship in an interview with Film Companion later that year. Going “public” about their relationship was something of a new turn for the couple, as Vijay Varma even told that they decided to go public because he didn’t want to “cage” his feelings.
“I think we were both aligned on the fact that if we like to spend time together, and if we like each other, then there is no need to hide this,” Vijay said during an interview on Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube channel. He went on to talk about the difficulties of keeping a relationship private stating that it was an effort to maintain secrecy. “It takes a lot of effort to hide a relationship. You cannot go out together, your friends cannot click your photos. I don’t like such restrictions. It wasn’t like I wanted to be out there, but I just didn’t want to cage my feelings,” he added.

Despite the split, it is clear that Tamannaah and Vijay are still on amicable terms with each other, so fans still leave some little room for hopes that there might be a friendship in the future.
