However, he does not see it as a negative thing—instead, he considers it a compliment.
John on Being Objectified in Bollywood
In an interview , John revealed that he has been told many times that he is “probably the only man who can be objectified by women.” While many actors might find this frustrating, John has a different perspective. “I did feel objectified,” he said. “But in a strange way, I didn’t feel bad about it. His Thoughts on The Diplomat
John is currently preparing for his upcoming film The Diplomat, which he believes will showcase his acting skills beyond just his looks. He compared it to some of his previous films, such as Madras Cafe, Kabul Express, Taxi No. 9211, and No Smoking, which were known for their strong storytelling.
He emphasized the importance of a well-written script, stating, “I have been focusing on writing in any film that I am producing or acting in because I believe the most important thing in a film is how it is written.” He explained that if a script is well-written and an actor delivers the dialogues as the director envisions, the film can become much more meaningful.
