In an interview, Bhumi spoke about her role in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, calling it a special film to conclude her first decade in the industry. She said, “When I read the script, I felt I had never played a character like Prableen before. She is a little off in a nice way, and her unpredictability brings so much comedy. I’ve played this part with a lot of dedication, so it’s a very special film for me.”
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, known for Pati Patni Aur Woh, the film explores the quirks and complexities of romantic relationships. Bhumi credited Aziz for guiding her in comedy, saying, “Comedy has different styles. The dialogues are written in a specific metre, and as an actor, you need to deliver in that metre, or the punch won’t land.”
