Ranveer Allahbadia faces an intensifying controversy each day as new complaints emerge. A new complaint alleges that the ‘vulgar’ show episode will affect JEE and NEET aspirants studying in Kota. Allahbadia receives the complaint after many viewers found his remarks on ‘India’s Got Latent’ offensive enough on his YouTube show.
Academic criticism exists about the show since its content attacks family values while crossing ethical boundaries. AICWA declared its agreement with the show’s ban and demanded prosecution of those operating the program while denouncing their statements. Through a statement AICWA demanded all actors and filmmakers and directors and technicians break their collaboration with Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia who work on this show.
Parliamentary member Naresh Mhaske of Shiv Sena has brought the OTT platform and social media content guidelines issue to the legislative floor. The MP demands that the central government establish content regulations for such programs because obscene materials should be prevented from spreading.

Ranveer Allahbadia made an official apology to the public to demonstrate his recognition of harmful and disrespectful comments he made. Through his promise to handle his platform responsibly from now on he has asked for the removal of contentious materials from the episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’ which featured his remarks.
