Prior to the results of the Delhi Assembly elections on Saturday, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that the BJP is trying to lure his party candidates. In a post on X, Kejriwal asserted that 16 AAP candidates were contacted by the BJP urging them to defect, with offers of a ministerial position and Rs 15 crore. The majority of the exit polls have indicated an advantage for the BJP in the crucial election. “If they are truly securing over 55 seats, why are they reaching out to our candidates?” These fraudulent surveys aim to foster an environment that undermines AAP candidates. “However, none of them will change their allegiance,” Kejriwal stated.
No re-election in any constituency
Vote tallying will commence at 7 am tomorrow, involving approximately 5,000 personnel associated with the Election Commission. There will be no reruns in any constituency since the election body has not gotten any complaints.
Voter Participation
During the single-phase election on Wednesday, the 7- Assembly constituencies of Delhi saw an overall voter turnout of 60.44%. The North-East district saw the greatest turnout at 66.25%, whereas the South-East district recorded a 56.31% voter turnout.
Vote counting will start at 7 am tomorrow, with EVMs safely kept in 70 strongrooms under strict security.

Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) R Alice Vaz also mentioned that a repoll was unnecessary in any constituency since the election body has not received complaints from candidates during the the review of election documents, including Form 17C, which records the votes cast at polling stations.
Vaz further mentioned that electronic voting machines have been safely kept in 7- strong rooms- one established in every constituency- at 19 sites in Delhi.
A three-level security system is established, with Central Armed Paramilitary Forces protecting the innermost zone and State Armed Police securing the outermost area, in addition to continuous 24×7 CCTV surveillance of the sealed doors of the strong rooms and corridors, the CEO mentioned.
