Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan made his first public appearance since recovering from a stabbing incident at his Bandra home. He attended the teaser launch of his upcoming Netflix film, Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins, sporting a cast on his left hand and a casual denim-on-denim look.

The incident occurred when an intruder, identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad from Bangladesh, entered Saif’s home with the alleged intent of theft. Saif intervened and was stabbed multiple times, sustaining serious injuries, including a wound to his thoracic spine. 

He underwent surgery to remove a 2.5-inch-long blade and was hospitalized for six days. A statement from his team confirmed his recovery, thanking doctors and fans for their support.

Despite the ordeal, Saif returned to work within weeks, showcasing his dedication. At the event, he joined co-star Jaideep Ahlawat and director Siddharth Anand, who is making his streaming debut with the film.

Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins follows a jewel thief hired by a crime lord to steal the world’s most elusive diamond, The African Red Sun. The heist takes a wild turn, leading to chaos, twists, and unexpected alliances. The film promises high-octane action, gripping storytelling, and breathtaking visuals.

Siddharth Anand, along with producer Mamta Anand, expressed excitement about their streaming debut. “This film has been a labor of love, combining action, suspense, and intrigue. Partnering with Netflix allows us to share this thrilling journey with global audiences,” they said.
