Karan Johar Calls Loveyapa “Magical” in His First Review, Praises Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Performances Ahead of the Film’s February Release

Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are all set to steal the show in their next film, as the anticipation for the release of Loveyapa builds. Already generating buzz since its inception, the film directed by Advait Chandan received its first glowing review from Karan Johar. Taking to Instagram, the filmmaker couldn’t help but go all out and shower praise on both the film and its lead actors.

In his review, Karan Johar called Loveyapa “hugely entertaining” and highlighted its appeal to the tech-savvy, app-obsessed Gen Z audience. He commended the film for delivering an engaging love story that strikes the right balance between entertainment and depth. “It talks to the Tech and App obsessed Gen Z with a love story that is hugely entertaining and makes solid points with brevity and precision… it’s what you genuinely call a great time at the movies!!!! “ he wrote. Johar also praised the lead pair of the movie, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, for their performances. He said that how they will represent the characters would make the viewers fall in love with them.

The filmmaker also revealed that he would see the film again without a hitch and said that it is “magical,” adding that movie lovers would thoroughly enjoy the movie. “You will fall in love with all the characters (terrific ensemble) and root for the magical and endearing leads #junaidkhan and @khushikapoor,” he added. The director, Advait Chandan, received applause from Johar for the film having relentless energy, humor, and good storytelling.

Janhvi Kapoor, sister of Khushi Kapoor, was the first to react with a post filled with red-heart emojis in the comments section. Director Advait Chandan was quick to express his gratitude towards Karan Johar for such sweet words. Such a great word of praise from a very big filmmaker will add more to the excitement growing over the film’s release. Loveyapa is all set to bring perfect love, drama, and emotional confusion together. The film, produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda, and Kunj Anand. The countdown to the movie’s release on February 7 has just begun but is bound to clash with Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravikumar at the box office. Fans are now eagerly expecting to see which film will emerge victorious in this battle for the big screen!
