A heartfelt ceremony was organized at the local Pragnarayan Muk Badhir Vidyalaya in Sasni Gate, Aligarh, where the Kiwanis Club of Aligarh extended its support to 105 hearing-impaired children enrolled in the school. The event saw the distribution of essential winter supplies, including sweaters, caps, and gloves, along with refreshments like biscuits and fruit drinks.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of prominent Kiwanis Club members, including President Yashpal Maheshwari, Secretary R.K. Khurana, Dr. Rakesh Bhargava, Sushil Goel, Vipin Nandan, Sanjeev Gupta, and member Harbhajan Singh.

During the event, Sushil Goel, the Rotaract Club’s Project Director, commended the school for its efforts in providing education and training to specially-abled children. He acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the school staff and management in ensuring a nurturing environment for the students.
In his address, Goel announced plans to further improve the school’s infrastructure. He assured the school of a soon-to-be-installed computer lab to support the children’s technological learning needs. Additionally, he promised to upgrade the school premises by installing tiles on doorframes and creating proper drinking water facilities.
The initiative by the Kiwanis Club was aimed at supporting the underprivileged children in coping with the winter season while also acknowledging the significance of providing them with a conducive learning atmosphere. The thoughtful gifts and refreshments brought smiles to the faces of the children, highlighting the importance of such community-driven initiatives.
