The suspected attacker of actor Saif Ali Khan has been identified by the Mumbai police from the CCTV footage captured at the Bandra railway station bridge. However, it appears that the assailant’s movements were not captured by other cameras in the vicinity, and investigators are assuming he may have boarded a local train and fled towards the Vasai-Nallasopara region.
This substantial lead surfaced after police teams thoroughly screened CCTV footage from other areas, which traced the killer’s escape route. More than 20 teams are now working hard to track the culprit. Police are also questioning auto drivers around Saif Ali Khan’s house and Bandra railway station for further leads. Furthermore, the footage of surveillance cameras installed in the nearby locations is under continuous observation, and the domestic staff of the actor are being questioned for any possible information that can help the investigation.
The Incident: A Shocking Attack on Saif Ali Khan
The incident unfolded when an intruder entered Saif Ali Khan’s residence with the intent to steal. The attacker had reportedly been hiding in the room of Saif’s young son, Jeh. A commotion broke out between the intruder and one of the house helps, prompting the actor to intervene. In the ensuing scuffle, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times with a sharp object.
The wounds were deep, and the actor needed emergency medical care. In a successful surgery, doctors removed a 2.5-inch knife stuck in Saif’s spine. Saif’s situation has stabilized now, and he is out of danger. He will soon be shifted from the ICU to his private room and would be giving his statement to the Mumbai Police there.

Police Attempt to Trace Attacker
The Mumbai Police are leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of the attacker. In addition to reviewing CCTV footage, they are expanding their search radius and interrogating people who may have witnessed any suspicious activity. Their efforts are concentrated on areas leading to Vasai and Nallasopara, where the suspect is believed to have fled.
