Saurabh Sachdeva Reveals Allu Arjun’s Praise for Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal During Pushpa 2 Shoot and Shares Insights on Their On-Set Bonding

Actor Saurabh Sachdeva, who has debuted in the Telugu film industry with Pushpa 2: The Rule, has easily gotten himself accustomed to the soil with his role as gangster Hameed in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated film Animal. With the film already generating much excitement among fans, with Allu Arjun playing the lead in it, Saurabh went on to share his experiences with HT in an interview.

He says about working in the Telugu film industry, “It is very warm, very inclusive and highly professional. I got the same respect that everyone else got on the set. Even better, the director allowed me to play the character in whatever manner I wanted; he trusted me.”. It was a very cozy atmosphere to work in, and it made me say yes to more work down south,” he shared. Still, he said that most of his scenes didn’t find their place in the film because they wanted a very tightly edited narrative.

Working with Allu Arjun was, Saurabh said, just the opposite. It was a great experience because of Allu Arjun. Allu Arjun was just so down-to-earth for being a megastar. Sharing a light-hearted anecdote, Saurabh said, “The first thing I told Allu Arjun when I met him was that I wanted to see his famous custom-made caravan; it’s so cool (laughs). We spent time together in his caravan after shooting for our scenes, and despite his fame, he’s quite nice and humble.”

Saurabh also shares a meaningful conversation that Allu Arjun had with him regarding Animal, in which Ranbir Kapoor is the main actor. Saurabh states that Allu Arjun complimented his performance in Pushpa 2 and then began telling him what he felt about the movie Animal. “He spoke about what he liked in the film and how much he liked my character. After our heartfelt interaction, I immediately knew I was in the right place.”. I left the conversation happy,” Saurabh recalled.

The versatility of the actor has been well reflected in his work in Manmarziyaan, Sacred Games, Jaane Jaan, and Bad Cop. With his growing body of work in the Telugu industry, Saurabh seems poised for further success.
